The Power in Action - Pt. 1

"Refusing to act leaves a person paralyzed, exactly where he was previously
once he acts, he is never the same. Once I press myself into action, I immediately begin to live. Anything less is merely existing. The moments I truly live are the moments when I act with my entire will."
 -Oswald Chambers

This quote couldn’t be more appropriate in my life right now. I have this tendency to “over share” or say everything I’m feeling, when I’m feeling it. I like things black and white, so when things are grey I can’t stand it, not to mention, grey is not flattering on me. Then, I do the polar opposite, I stay silent when I should speak and when I know what I need to do; I still over analyze it and pick at scenarios. You could say I’m a mess and should probably do some growing up. Don’t you fret though; God has that taken care of. For a while now God has revealed to me the urgency of letting things go, the urgency in laying things down and never picking them back up. Even being earnest in going to him before anything and keeping things between the two of us- let’s be real, If you’re not praying about it, you don’t need to be talking about it.  There is something valued about going to God about everything but for intimacy to be intimacy some things must stay between you and God. Keeping it simple can be the foundation to endless influence.
