For every lie there's a truth.

    Do you ever have days where you constantly feel like you're fighting your flesh? Fighting how you feel. It's like running in a race and you hit a spot where your running against the wind. You keep going but it's annoying and feels like it takes forever. Knowing all you have to do is perservere.

   Well, if you don't mind I'm gonna be a little transparent, yesterday I felt ugly. Girls, isn't it hilarious when you feel ugly...it affects everything you do! You change your outfit three times a day, do your hair twice, spray the perfume and you still feel gross. Then your friends tell you look good and you swear they're lying.  Have you ever thought your believing the wrong lie? Just because we feel ugly doesn't mean it's true. Truth is not a feeling. It's the truth. What lie are you believing? What lie is keeping you paralyzed from being all that God says you are?

   The good news is, for every lie there's a truth. Seek truth, seek God to be your security. Your vulnerability and neediness is everything God desires. Others see your insecurity as pathetic. God sees your insecurity as a favorable circumstance to fill you with his completion. 

When you seek God wholeheartedly, you will find him. As you find Him, you'll be found. 

If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.  I will be found by you,” says the Lord . “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes....”
