Forever Faithful Pt.2
Over Christmas break I was sitting at home
enjoying an episode of One Tree Hill (one of the only soaps I watch;) and the
saying “knowledge is power” was said.
Even though I’ve probably have heard that saying countless times… It kept
repeating over and over in my head. Knowledge
is power. Is knowledge really power? There is authority in knowing things.
I don’t mean knowing dirt on your friend so you can get what you want in
return. I mean knowing the truth about something so great…knowing the Truth of
who you are, the truth of who GOD is, and knowing the truth of who you are in
God.
Fun Fact: Yada, in
Hebrew, means to know and to be made known. When you research the meaning know it gives the definition to perceive
directly, to established or fixed in the mind, and to be aware and understand.
When
you know something/someone it brings understanding, intimacy, freedom, and
excitement. Knowing God is faithful has been a lesson I continuously learn. However,
knowing can only go so far. There comes a point you have to proclaim and live
it out. You can’t just talk the talk… you got to walk the walk. When you begin
to live out what you know that’s when it becomes powerful, because not always
are you going to feel God or feel like he is with you. But you will know that
God is faithful, challenging you to be faithful in return, as you trust Him.
